The Hawkeye is our largest private log home we have designed so far, reaching close to 14 500 square feet of living space plus a large three car garage and a full walkout basement. It will take close to five years to complete this project as so many details are going to be added inside the house.
The logs used in this home are at least 20” in diameter and are two full stories high.
One striking exterior feature is a hot tub at the top of a 12’ diameter log post to be reached from master suite. This is also the side you reach the house from and the owner wanted that feature mainly for “street appeal”.
